One of the things I love about living in Pittsburgh is it’s big little city feel. There is always something new around every corner – be it old architecture with a ton of history or an entrepreneur worthy of your money.
One of my favorite shops that I recently discovered is Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop in the strip.
The little storefront at the far end of Penn Ave has a wide array of unique candy items – including some very cool energy drinks. They also have sponsored the Halloween party for my ghost hunting group.
Every time I’ve walked in they’ve had the original Gene Wilder version of Willie Wonka playing in a little theater in the back of the shop too. This adds a cool detail to the atmosphere.
