Weekly Photography Challenge from #Pittsburgh: On the Move

For this week’s photography challenge, I wanted to continue experimenting with different subjects in downtown.

As I’m sure you know, all my photography is taken with my cell phone. I wanted to experiment with some Android apps and different subjects to see what happened. I tried taking some shots of the local subway station, a “dancing fountain” and tried catching some birds in flight. These are the best unfiltered shots to come from my Sunday in the sun:

I caught this pigeon in flight near my alma mater – Point Park University. I was walking in the first district in downtown.

I love the kinetic energy of water in a fountain. This one is at PPG Place in downtown Pittsburgh. It has been a draw for families during warm weather for a long time. If you get a chance on a weekend this spring and summer, visit the fountain and then grab a bite to eat at Market Square right next door!
