cool view of downtown Pittsburgh from Troy Hill

While searching for a cool view, I walked down this decidedly Pittsburgh street…

another street in pittsburgh

I also ended up at St. Anthony’s Chapel in the Spring Hill section of the North Side. I went there because it claims to hold the largest collection of Catholic religious artifacts in the world. A priest that started the parish in the 1850s is legendary – there are many reports that Father Mollinger  was able to heal the sick through the masses he would conduct. If you enjoy history and learning about Pittsburgh, the church is a great place to stop!
